This gate is made of steel and will install at the top or bottom of stairs as well as any doorway opening. The gate has an installation advantage of being able to install at any angle. One hand operation Designed to fit openings from 26 1/2" to 41 1/2". This gate also has an unusual feature of height adjustment. By adding sections to the height, you can raise the height to 40" in order confine that pet that wants to jump over the gate or the difficult child that try's to climb over conventional height gates.
