Electrical Outlet Safety Cover

These outlet covers replace your existing outlet plate covers in play areas where you have outlets with nothing plugged into them. If you have electrical cords plugged into the outlets use the Outlet Box Covers(EP100). In general, outlets behind furniture and in hidden places of view and reach of the child do not need to be replaced. The cover works on outlets that have a single center screw attachment. They do not work on Decor plates with two screws to attach the plate. Each plate has a foam back for sealing air tight against walls that leak air to the outside.The outlets are easy for adults to use but prevent the child from poking anything into the outlet. They operate by using the prongs of the electrical cord to slide them sideways and then insert the plug. When the plug is pulled they automatically return to closed position and seal the outlet.
