If you have a free standing stove that you are heating your home with, then you know the dangers posed to a small child. Here is a solution that is elegant and total protection against the child ever reaching the hot surfaces of the stove. It can be free standing or attached to the wall. You can change it's configuration to fit any shape. The gate begins with a total of ten linear feet and can be expanded in two foot increments to reach any length desired. A panel has a walk through gate that swings either direction, making access to the stove easy for an adult. A BBQ on the deck or an outside fire pit can be protected with the same gate. The standard gate is 29 1/2" high. You can expand the gate by adding 8" or 24" sections for larger areas.

If you are one of those parents that has a fireplace for heat, this is the only safe option for your child. It covers the hearth, the fire pit and all tools as well as supplies for the fireplace. Adjustable to fit almost every conceivable configuration. The gate contains a walk through section that opens either direction for access to the fire pit. It is attractive, quickly disconnects from the wall for adult parties and folds up to a small 2' x 3' x 6" package for storage in a closet. Each end of the gate has an easily attached bracket for secure installation. Bracket must be screwed into wall or wood for sturdy mounting. Gate has a ten foot length, with hinge points at every two feet. Each hinge point can bend 180 degrees to form almost any configuration within the ten foot length. The standard gate is 29 1/2" high and fits hearths 5' 10" wide by 1' 10" deep. You can expand the gate by adding 8" or 24" sections for larger areas.
